Rachel: Didn't you hear? Sam quit yesterday.
Suzy: What do you mean he quit?
Rachel: I mean he came to work yesterday, walked into the manager's office, told the manager that he quit, and then he walked out.
Suzy: Why would Sam quit out of the blue like that?
Rachel: I have no idea, but it really was out of the blue. Nobody expected it to happen.
Suzy: I'm going to call him. I am worried that something happened to him. It doesn't seem like Sam to do something like that.
Rachel: That's a good idea. Let me know what you find out.
Suzy: Okay. I'll let you know what he says.
