Off the Top of one's Head

HOW TO USE

Speak as Carrie
Speak as Devin
Carrie: I have to take a client out to eat tonight. Could you recommend a restaurant?

Devin: Off the top of my head, I think you should take them to the steakhouse on 4th avenue. They have the best steak.

Carrie: That sounds pretty good. Thanks.

Devin: No problem. If I think of a better restaurant, I will call you and let you know.

Carrie: Don't worry about it. I think the steakhouse is a good idea.

Devin: Great. While you are here, I have a question for you.

Carrie: What can I do for you?

Devin: Do you know any place near here where we can hold a conference?

Carrie: I can't think of any off the top of my head, but I will ask around. If I hear about a good place, I will call you.

Devin: Thanks. I appreciate it.
