In the Wind

HOW TO USE

Speak as Pete
Speak as Trisha
Pete: Is Chris going to come to our book club meeting tonight?

Trisha: I doubt it. I haven't seen him in a while.

Pete: Neither have I. What has he been doing recently?

Trisha: To tell you the truth, I have no idea. He is in the wind these days.

Pete: What does that mean?

Trisha: If someone is in the wind, it means that they are missing and nobody knows what they are doing or where they are going.

Pete: I see. Chris is definitely in the wind then.

Trisha: I have known Chris for a long time. He gets like this sometimes. He gets bored and restless, and he starts to behave unpredictably. Don't worry because he will be back to normal before too long.

Pete: I hope so. I miss seeing him at our book club.
