Back in the Day

HOW TO USE

Speak as Wendy
Speak as Amy
Wendy: You are a great dancer.

Amy: Thank you.

Wendy: Where did you learn to dance like that?

Amy: I danced a lot back in the day. I took dancing classes twice a week, and I was a member of a dance team.

Wendy: I wish I had done something like that when I was young.

Amy: What did you usually do back in the day?

Wendy: I didn't do anything fun because my parents made me study every day.

Amy: That's too bad. However, that might be the reason that you have such a good job now.

Wendy: That is true, but I still wish that I could dance like you.

Amy: It's never too late to learn. Why don't you take a class?

Wendy: I could never do that. I would be too embarrassed.
