Pick up

HOW TO USE

Speak as Carrie
Speak as Tony
Carrie: I have a meeting this afternoon across town. Can you pick up the kids from school?

Tony: What time?

Carrie: At 4:30.

Tony: I can't do it. I have my sales presentation at four. There is no way that I will finish in time to pick the kids up.

Carrie: What are we going to do?

Tony: I can ask my mother to pick them up today.

Carrie: I feel bad for asking your mother for help, but I don't see any other choice this time.

Tony: I'll call her now.

Carrie: Please tell her how sorry we are to bother her and how much we appreciate her help.

Tony: I will and don't worry too much. She likes spending time with her grandkids.
