Speak as Nick
Speak as Megan
Nick: How's it going these days?

Megan: Everything is fine, but I'm a little tired because I haven't been able to sleep well.

Nick: Why not?

Megan: My new apartment is near the train tracks. So, every time a train goes by, it is very noisy. The trains run until about 1 am, so it is hard for me to sleep until 1 am.

Nick: That sounds awful. How do you put up with that?

Megan: I don't really have a choice.

Nick: Well, why did you get a place near the train tracks?

Megan: I couldn't afford any other place. Plus, I didn't think it would be a problem.

Nick: So, what are you going to do?

Megan: There is nothing I can do about it now. Hopefully, I'll be able to get used to it. But if not, I'll just need to put up with it until my lease is over.
