Fool around

HOW TO USE

Speak as Erin
Speak as Klay
Erin: I'm having trouble with my kids lately.

Klay: What's the problem?

Erin: My two boys don't want to study these days. They just fool around.

Klay: How old are your boys? I can't remember.

Erin: Billy is twelve, and Jason is fifteen.

Klay: That's right. Now, I remember. Anyway, sometimes, it is hard for boys that age to focus on studying. They just have too much energy, and their attention span is too short.

Erin: The problem is that both of their teachers say that they are fooling around too much in class, too. They are bothering other students and making it hard for their teacher to teach.

Klay: What do you think is going on with them?

Erin: I'm not sure, but I need to figure something out. Something needs to change.
