A Pain in the Neck
Speak as Pete
Speak as Wendy
Wendy: Me too. They are such a pain in the neck.
Pete: Why do they have to be so long?
Wendy: That's what I was just thinking. 90% of the information that I have to write in these reports is absolutely useless.
Pete: I agree. It's also a pain in the neck that we have to write them by hand. Why can't we just type them?
Wendy: I asked about that once. They said that it is important to have a digital copy and a hard copy. So, we write the hard copy, and then they scan it to make a digital copy.
Pete: That seems like a waste. Nobody keeps hard copies anymore. Everything is digital. We should just type the reports, and then they can print out a hard copy.
Wendy: That's a good idea. You should mention that at our next meeting.
