A People Person

HOW TO USE

Speak as Ryan
Speak as Wendy
Ryan: I'm surprised that Tim got promoted.

Wendy: Why's that?

Ryan: I never see him do any work in the office. It just seems like he sits around and does nothing.

Wendy: Well, Tim is not very good at office work, but he is a real people person.

Ryan: So what?

Wendy: So, he is really good with customers. He is great at entertaining existing clients and convincing new clients to work with us.

Ryan: I see. I guess the bosses think that is more important than office work.

Wendy: It's how the company makes money.

Ryan: I wish I was more of a people person, but I just feel awkward and uncomfortable around people I don't know.

Wendy: I understand. I'm the same way. I'm definitely not a people person. I'm more of a cat person.
