Greg: Why do you have to work? Can't you just tell your boss that it is your daughter's birthday?
Angela: I already told him, but he doesn't care. Our most important client has requested a meeting for that day, so I need to take a business trip to their head office.
Greg: How awful!
Angela: I know. My daughter is going to be so disappointed.
Greg: I guess you can make it up to her by having her party on another day.
Angela: Of course, I will do that, but she will still be disappointed that I am not home on her birthday.
