Carrie: We used to be really close, but we drifted apart over the past few years.
Pete: What happened? Did you have a big fight?
Carrie: No. We didn't have a fight. We just started becoming interested in different things. She got into playing guitar, and she joined a band. At the same time, I got a new job that is very demanding and stressful. So, we just started hanging out less and less.
Pete: That's too bad. You two used to have so much fun together.
Carrie: We still see each other sometimes, but we are both getting older, so we don't have as much free time as we used to. We are both focused on our careers.
Pete: I get it. I guess that happens to everyone as they get older.
