Speak as Pete
Stacey: Hey Pete. How are you doing?

Pete: Honestly, I am having a bad week.

Stacey: I'm sorry to hear that. What's going on?

Pete: Do you remember when I told you that I was working on an important project for my new company?

Stacey: Yes, I remember. You said that you were really excited about it and that it could help you get a big promotion next year.

Pete: Well, the project just went down in flames.

Stacey: That's awful. What happened?

Pete: There were a lot of problems, but to make a long story short, one of our important partners pulled out of the project.

Stacey: I'm sorry to hear that, but don't worry. I'm sure there will be other projects in the future.
